Cron Jobs allow you to automatically run scheduled tasks on your server and receive automated emails displaying the results. You can set the Unix command and the frequency that it will run inside of your cPanel. To do this:

• Log into your cPanel through your customer manager at https://my.opensourcehost.com
• Click on “My Products” and then “Control Panel” across from your hosting package
• Once logged into your cPanel, click on the “Cron Jobs” icon toward the bottom of the page underneath the “Advanced” heading
• Choose your experience level by clicking on “Standard” or “Advanced (Unix Style)”
• On either of these screens, you’ll be able to specify the frequency and the command you wish to run
• If you have chosen “Advanced” select “Commit Changes” to set the cron job
