Once you’ve installed the eShop module, you’re ready to begin filling your online store with products. To add products to your eShop online store:
- Navigate to the
eShop Page and go to the “Products” tab.
- Click on the
“Add New Products” icon.
- Give the product a Name, Price, Brief and Long description and upload an image for your product.
- Also, you may wish to indicate the amount of the product you have in stock. Concerning the “Stock” feature:
- You may disable this feature by clicking on the “Settings” tab of the eShop page and unchecking the “Enable stock tracking” check box.
- The stock order number is only incremented or decremented when you, the store owner, changes the customer’s order status to “Processed”, “Completed” or “Failed” or “Canceled” respectively.
- You may also specify different color options and alternate images using the
icon. Alternate images for your color options may also be added here.
- The “Advertise Only” checkbox will ensure that the product information is displayed but it cannot be ordered.
- Additional product customizations such as manufacturer, size, etc. can be made on the “Options” tab.
- After you’ve completed all of the necessary customizations for your product, click “OK” to add the product to your Catalog.
Important Note: Products may be edited or removed by navigating back to the “Products” tab and clicking on the
“Edit” or
“Remove” icons.
