Managing Blog Post Categories

“Categories” are used to define the subject matter of your blog posts. Grouping your posts into categories will all your readers (and search engines!) to quickly find posts on the subject.

To add a new category:

  • Navigate to the Blog page and click on the “Content” tab.
  • Click on the “Add New Categories” icon.
  • On the “Main Properties” tab, enter a “Name” and “Descripiton” for your category.
  • Click “OK“

To change the order of the categories as they appear on your blog:

  • Navigate to the Blog page and click on the “Content” tab.
  • Click on the or icons next to the category’s name to move the order as you see fit.

To remove a category:

  • Navigate to the Blog page and click on the “Content” tab.
  • Select the category you wish to remove and click on the “Remove Selected” icon.

Important Note: Removing a post’s category does not delete the post.
