The Plesk Sitebuilder is an easy to use, scalable web application designed to create and manage websites. There is a easy to use five-step wizard to assist you in building/maintaining your website.
There are several included modules such as: Blog, Image Gallery, Guestbook, eShop, SitePal, Forum, Feedback, Registration, RSS Reader, Voting, Script, Area Map, File Download, SiteMap, External Page, and Flash Intro.
To access the Plesk Sitebuilder you will need to:
- Login to your Customer Manager at https://my.opensourcehost.com
- Click on the My Products tab and then the “View Details” link for the domain name you want to work with.
- Click on the Add Site Builder icon to get started.
Important Note: If you have a hosting package you will need to click the “View Details” link next to that in order to use the Plesk Sitebuilder. If you only have a Domain Name Package (no web hosting) you will need to click the “View Details” for it and then “Enable Domain Name Package” to get the Plesk Sitebuilder feature.
You can follow the 5 steps within the Plesk Sitebuilder to build your website.
- Once you are logged into the Plesk Sitebuilder click on “Step 1 Start“. This will allow you to select the type of website you want to create.
- Click “Next” to go to “Step 2 Design“. This will allow you to select the template you want to use for your website.
- Scroll to the right to select a color scheme, banner, menu style, logo, and site info.
- Click “Next” to go to “Step 3 Pages“. This will have you create the website structure and the pages hierarchy.
- Click “Next” to go to “Step 4 Edit“. You will be creating your site content, adding modules, and editing the pages of your website.
- Click “Next” to go to “Step 5 Publish“. This will publish your site and all changes you have made to it.
