How to change your page structure

The topic of this article is supported in its entirety by our customer support department.

You can edit the sites page structure in the “Step 3 Pages” section of the Parallels® Plesk Site Builder. You are provided with predefined site structures, or “page sets”, which can be used as templates for your new site structure:

  • Once you are logged into the Parallels® Plesk Site Builder click on “Step 3 Pages”.
  • Under “Your Site Structure” The current layout will be listed. You can remove pages from this structure by clicking the “<" button and add pages by clicking the ">” button.
  • You cannot remove all the pages in the current site structure; you must leave at least one page until the new structure is complete then remove the last page. To remove the current site structure select all the pages in “Your Site Structure” and click “<".
  • Under “Page Sets” you will see the page structure for the selected set. The pages in the page set selected will be listed in “Standard pages” on the right.
  • Under “Standard pages” select all the pages from the current predefined list and click the “>” button.
  • Remove the remaining page from the previous site structure using the “<” button.
  • You have now changed your site structure.
  • Underneath “Your Site Structure” you can move pages up or down by clicking the corresponding button on the left.
  • You can move pages from the top level to the second level using the “Left” and “Right” buttons to the right of the page list. The “Right” button will move the page to the secondary level and the “Left” button will move the page back to the primary level.
  • You can rename pages in the site structure using the “Rename” button.
  • Changing the websites page structure will create entirely new pages in which content will need to be re-added to the pages.
