On the guestbook page, your visitors will be able to leave their notes, messages, and comments. The main difference between guestbooks and online forums is that in forums, all messages are grouped in threads, or topics. In guestbooks, all messages are displayed as they have been submitted, in the reverse order (new messages appearing on the top).
- Click “Step 3 Pages” at the top of the page.
- Select the in the Special Pages box.
- Click the button.
Adding messages to your guestbook:
- Click on “Add New Message” icon
- In the “Author” field, specify the author of the message.
- If necessary, specify your e-mail address in the “E-mail” field.
- If necessary, specify the URL to your web site or other Internet resource of interest in the “URL” field.
- Enter the message text in the “Message” field and click “OK”.
Editing messages in your guestbook:
- First, click “Step 2 Edit” at the top of the page.
- Select the Guestbook in the “Site Map”.
- Messages can be added, edited and removed on the “Content” tab.
You can remove a message from your guestbook by selecting the message you want to remove by checking the box to the left and then hit “Remove Selected”.
