CuteFTP is a simple and popular FTP client for Windows, and can be downloaded from http://www.cuteftp.com

Open the CuteFTP program

Click File

Select Connection Wizard…

In the new window, enter a name for your site

Click Next

Enter your domain name (ie, yoursitedomain.com)

Click Next

Enter the following information:

• User name - Enter your FTP username

Important Note: If you are on a Name Based VDS or a name-based resold account, you will need to use the username format username%yoursitedomain.com when connecting.

• Password - Enter your FTP password
• Anonymous login checkbox - Leave unchecked.
• Mask password checkbox - Check if you do not want the password to be visible in the FTP software.

Click Next

Click Browse to find your website files on your local computer

Click Finish

Enter the following information:

• Connect to this site automatically checkbox - Check to have CuteFTP log into the site automatically.
• Add to right-click shell integration checkbox - Check to access the site from Windows with the right button of your mouse.

Click Finish
