Forwarding an Existing Mailbox to Another Address

Using email forwarding, it is possible for an individual email user to forward all of their email to another email account.  This is useful for forwarding email messages to a personal address when on vacation.


Log in to your user manager at http://yoursitedomain.com/users/. When prompted for a username and password, enter the username and password for your email account. Do not include the @ sign or the domain name in the username field.

Click the Auto Forwarder link on the left

Check Enable Service

Type in any email addresses you want your email to be forwarded to.

Click Keep Messages on Server if you would like these emails to be available on this mailserver as well. This will allow you to check your mail with your regular email client while also having the mail forwarded elsewhere. This is conveniant if you wish to forward a copy of your email to another address without discontinuing the use of your regular email program, which is a great solution for users of mobile devices such as the Blackberry.

Now any email sent to will be forwarded on to the email address(es) you specified, and also copied to the server if you so choose.  To disable the service, follow the same directions but be sure to un-check the “Enable Service” box.
