Verifying that your Domain Name Setup is Correct

The topic of this article is supported in its entirety by our customer support department.

If your website does not load at all, or takes you to a page of advertisements, be sure that the domain name has not expired. If you registered your domain name with OpenSourceHost, you can use the customer manager’s products section to view the expiration date and renew the domain if needed. If you purchased your domain name from another company, contact them to be sure that the name has not expired.

If the domain name has not expired yet the site still does not load, be sure that you have given the correct nameservers to your domain registration company.

OpenSourceHost’s Nameservers are:

Primary Nameserver

ns1.myhostcenter.com
64.6.240.120

Secondary Nameserver

ns2.myhostcenter.com
64.6.240.130

If you purchased the domain from OpenSourceHost, you do not need to make any nameserver changes. If you are still experiencing the problem after verifying that your domain name has not expired and the nameserver records are correct, please contact our customer support department for assistance in identifying and resolving the issue.
