Return to "Troubleshooting"It may be necessary to restart the VDS Hosting account after making changes to configuration files, or if you are having a problem with one of the services on your account (for example, if the database server is not responding, it may be wise to restart the VDS Hosting Account first). Restarting the VDS Hosting Account stops all active processes and connections on your account, then re-starts them. This process is very similar to rebooting your computer, and takes approximately 2 minutes to complete.
