Suspending a Resold Customer Account

If you need to suspend a resold customer, you can do so from your Reseller Manager. The customer will not be able to view their website, send or receive email, or access their site files until the account has been unsuspended.

Log in to your Reseller Manager by clicking the ‘Login to Reseller Manager’ link from the Products page of the Customer Manager, which is located at https://my.opensourcehost.com.

Click on Accounts

Click on the name of the account that you wish to suspend

Click on the Edit button to edit the properties of the account

Deselect the “Enabled” option to indicate that the account should be disabled

Click Next, then click Finish. The account is now disabled.

If you wish to reactivate the suspended account, simply select the “Enabled” option when editing the account properties. Suspensions and unsuspensions of accounts are immediate and take less than 5 minutes to complete.
