Users can send commands to “” to subscribe, unsubscribe, obtain help, and more. The command should be entered into the message of the email.
To use these commands, simply compose a new email message to in plain text format (not HTML format, which may be the default in your email software). Leave the subject field blank, and enter one of the following commands in the body of the message:

• help - Sends the user a list of majordomo commands.
• info mailinglist - Sends the welcome letter for the mailing list, where mailinglist is the name of the list.
• subscribe mailinglist - This command subscribes a user to the mailing list using the address from which they sent the email.
• unsubscribe mailinglist - This command unsubscribes a user to the mailing list using the email address from which they sent the email.
• which emailaddress - Sends an email which lists the mailing list that the user (or email address) is subscribed to.
• who mailinglist - Lists the subscribers of a list.

Once you send your email message, Majordomo will send the results of the command back to you at the address your message came from.
