Return to "Creating Additional FTP Users"You can create additional FTP users for your account. This will give these additional users access to their own FTP directory. These are created within your VDS Manager.
• Log in to your VDS Manager by clicking the ‘Login to VDS Manager’ link from the Products page of the Customer Manager, which is located at https://my.opensourcehost.com.
• Click Accounts (under Email/FTP).
• Click the “Add” button.
• Specify the user name and create a password.
• Check the “Enable” box under the FTP section.
Important Note: The email does not need to be enabled for a user to have FTP access.
Important Note: If you leave the quota as 0 MB, you are giving the user an unlimited amount of your disk space to which they can upload files.
• Leave the default Home directory as is. This gives your additional FTP user access into that directory only. They do not have access to your main web site directory. (/var/www/html)
