Getting Started with Miva Merchant



Miva Merchant is a full-featured shopping cart application that allows your web viewers to order products from your website. When a customer submits an order, the shipping cost of the items they selected can be computed, and their card can be charged the full amount of their order; once an order is placed, you simply ship the products to the customer.

To use the Miva Merchant shopping cart, you must first purchase a license key for the software.

Once you have your Miva license key, you can begin installing the software.

Now that the Miva Merchant software has been installed, you can begin setting up your store. In the VDS Manager’s ValueApps section, under the E-Commerce heading, you will see Miva Merchant listed with three links below it:

Click on the SETUP link to open the Miva setup wizard, and follow the installation steps. You will be prompted to enter your Miva license key as provided by customer support, as well as your contact information that will be listed in the stores configuration. During the installation process, you may be prompted to enter the name of the mailserver that your store should use for sending notices to customers; simply enter mail.yoursitedomain.com
